Spam prevention and technical information
The contact handler uses a keyed hash of the connecting IP address and an attempt count to limit repeated submissions. This temporary record expires after 15 minutes without another counted attempt; cleanup of expired database records may happen later. The raw IP address is not included in the enquiry email by this form. Hosting and security services may separately record IP addresses, request times and browser information.
Recipients and retention
Messages pass through the website’s hosting and email systems and are available to the people handling enquiries. The theme does not create a separate contact-message database. Copies may remain in email systems, server logs or backups. Retention should reflect the time needed to resolve an enquiry, handle follow-up questions or disputes, and meet any applicable legal obligation.
